Copper bronze with stones and residue of cultic painting. Standing in aldihâsana on two demons, holding in her raised right hand a gri gug knife, in her left a kapala. In the left arm she holds the trivangha rod. She is crowned and wearing a long necklace with severed skulls. A round opening on the back of the figure and the base underneath closed. Height 12cm. Die Figur zeigt Spuren langer Benutzung und Verehrung. Höhe 9cm. Zustand A/B. SHYÂMA TÂRÂ. Tibet. 15th/16th c. Copper alloy with fire-gilding. Sitting on a lotus base, her right foot in moving attitude, showing her willingness to get into action. Her right hand placed on the leg, her left hand raised in front of the chest. She is dressed in flowing ribbons with rich jewelry and she also wears a crown. At each shoulder an Utpala flower. The plate of the probably originally sealed base engraved with an unusual lotus flower, rather than the usual double vajra. The figure shows traces of long time of use and worship. Height 9cm. Die auf Sanskrit als Yakshi Remati bezeichnete Göttin, die auch als ‚Armeen vertreibende Königin‘ verehrt wird, reitet auf einem Maultier. Höhe 10cm. Auf Holzsockel montiert. Zustand A/B. MAGZOR GYALMO ON THE MULE. China or Mongolia. 19th c. Bright bronze with fire-gilding. Yakshi Remati (Sanskrit), also known as ‘armies repelling queen’ is riding on a mule. With her right hand she swings a vajra scepter, with her left hand she holds a blood-filled skull cup at heart level. Height 10cm. Mounted on a wooden base. Condition A/B.
