"The Course of Abstraction" focuses on works of Modern and Contemporary art that distance themselves from the object-relatedness of earlier centuries. Only forms, colors, lines and contrasts are defined as subjects. By removing and renouncing the objective, the artists achieve a separation from a naturalistic, realistic illustration.
