New jewelry for a new time. VAN HAM is pleased to present a curated selection of jewellery from the Belle Epoque. Between the two world wars, cultural life flourished, a period of social upheaval, shifts in classical role models and revolutionary artistic ideas began. The general economic upswing at the beginning of the 1920s made it possible to implement new styles in the most luxurious materials - and there were plenty of occasions to wear the jewellery in the ballrooms of Berlin, Paris and London. This selection of jewellery is intended to give a small insight into this world and testifies to the avant-garde spirit of the period.
