The body in fine relief with birds, dragons and zoomorphic forms in lancet leaves. Side handles originating from animal mouths, two small mushroom-shaped handles on top. At the longer spout between the lancet leaves two inscriptions, but abraded. Height 15.2cm. Condition A/B. Provenance: -Private collection Northern Germany. China. Ming Dynasty. 15th/16th c. Bronze with dark patina and black lacquer. On the body in relief persons in landscapes, with fine engraved patterns in the background. The lip is offset with a square frame, the handles on both sides are set straigt upright. At the lip a bit of a fine pattern is visible under the lacquer.
