Square vase with bulbous body on short footring. Front and back each with a pair of singing birds on stones with flowers. Both sides with a poem in four lines in elegant calligraphy. Height 35.5cm. Inscription with the title: “Beautiful sight in fragrant wind” and “Spring scene in Wuling”. Sign.: Zhanhu Yu Liu Yucen. Seal: Zhu. Underneath a red mark: Yin Bing Zhai. GUANYIN ZUN VASE. China. Republic period. Dated 1937. Egg shell porcelain, painted in the colors of the famille rose, black and gold. High cylindrical neck with flared edge on wide shoulder and a short foot. On the front, in a garden landscape, a lady in a long robe carries a yoke, on which she carries a wine vessel and objects wrapped in a cloth. The back with a poem and inscription. A geometric band over the foot, the neck with ruyi pendant under one huiwen band. Height 23.7cm. Sign: Jin Zhaofang. In the bottom six-character Qianlong mark.
