Dieser zweiarmige Mahâkâla gilt als der Schützer der Karma-Kagyü-Schule und sein Name bedeutet wörtlich ‚Schwarzer Mantel‘. Sockel verschlossen. Höhe 25,3cm. Zustand B. Sockelfiguren fehlend. BERNAGCHEN MAHÂKÂLA. Tibet/Nepal. Copper bronze with partial fire-gilding, painting and stones. Standing on a separate lotus base with removable flame mandorla. This two-armed Mahâkâla is considered as the protector of the Karma Kagyü school and his name literally says ‘Black coat’. Base sealed. Height 25.3cm. Condition B.
