Sitting on a lotus throne with vajra and gantha bell. He wears the seven-fold Bodhisattva jewels, around the hips a sheer garment and slung over the left shoulder a yogi cord. A five-part crown with a tiny depiction of Amitâbha in the center. Height 11cm. Conditon A/B. With shiny surface, maybe lacquered. Kupferbronze mit Feuervergoldung und Resten von Bemalung im Gesicht und Haar. Auf der Rückseite des Throns innen zwei weitere Schriftzeichen für ‚Fluss/ Sichuan‘ und ‚Mitte‘ (von rechts nach links gelesen). Eventuell eine der eintausend Amitâyus- Figuren, die Qianlong zu seinem 60. Geburtstag in Auftrag gab. Vorderseite des Throns mit graviertem Schriftzug in chinesischen Schriftzeichen: „Da Qing Qianlong gengyin nian jing zao“, der die Statue ins Jahr 1770 datiert. Höhe 19cm. Zustand B. Etwas nach links geneigt, Krone beschädigt, Mandorla fehlend. BUDDHA AMITÂYUS. Sino-Tibetan. Qing dynasty, Qianlong period. Dated 1770. Copper bronze with gilding and residue of pigments on face and hair. Sitting on a throne with supports in the shape of curved vajra, at the front an altar cloth in beautiful folds. Crowned and 2151 adorned with jewels. On the back of the throne inside two characters for ‘river/Sichuan‘ and ‘middle/center’ (read from the right to the left). Possibly one of the thousand Amitâyus figures that Qianlong gave order to be made for his 60th birthday. At the front of the throne in engraved Chinese characters: “Da Qing Qianlong gengyin nian jing zao”, stating the statue was made in 1770. Height 19cm. Condition B. Slightly tilted to the left, damaged crown, mandorla missing. 無量壽佛鎏金銅像 漢藏式 清乾隆庚寅年（1770） 高19cm 寶座背面內寫有“川中”二字。可能為乾隆 60大壽所鑄造的一千尊無量壽佛之一。 寶座前面一行銘文「大清乾隆庚寅年敬 造」。 € 3.800 - 4.500 | $ 4.142 - 4.905 2152
