Since February 2020 Dr. Davide Dossi is responsible for Fine Art at VAN HAM. His profile consists of numerous and significant study and professional experiences as well as scholarships in internationally renowned research institutions and museums.
Under the new management, the Fine Art department is setting new challenges and new goals: Namely, to significantly increase the quality of the objects and to make the offer more international. The Old Masters Market in recent years has shown a strong interest on the part of the public in high-calibre objects or captivating themes that can stimulate the imagination of the future owner, enrich his or her everyday life and create a dialogue with the contemporary world.
For this reason, we are pleased to receive for our upcoming auctions paintings, sculptures and drawings from the Middle Ages to the end of the nineteenth century from all art schools, which can be attractive to an international audience of all ages.
