The auction of 52 fashion photographs from the collection of Baroness Jeane von Oppenheim aims to support the important work of the Blau-Gelbes-Kreuz e.V. in Cologne. On offer are icons of fashion photography by international protagonists such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Man Ray as well as other important representatives of fashion photography such as F.C. Gundlach, Walde Huth, Charlotte March and Horst P. Horst.
The Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. has been promoting the development of a free, democratic Ukraine since 2014. In particular, it supports children, internally displaced persons, injured people and other people in great need from the regions affected by the war. Since the outbreak of the war, a wide range of measures have been continuously implemented on the ground to help Ukrainians and their country.
All lots are offered without limit. VAN HAM will waive the buyer’s premium so that all proceeds from the auction will go to the organisation.
